Save the Nevada bluejays by biking to clear all that smog in the air.
This game was created for a Flash game development and journalism graduate course at the Reynolds School of Journalism, University of Nevada campus. Prior to coding and drawing the graphics, students conducted user research and tested paper prototypes. This class was a crash course in AS3 programming because none of us had any prior experience coding in Flash.
Overall, I think this game is a success. It’s fun, energetic, and delivers a simple but effective message: if we all biked we could eliminate tons of CO2 emissions from cars and save the Nevada bluejays!
